Silver award for the University Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI) – Hematology Clinic for the ‘HLA Mapping of the Population of Crete and increasing donor diversity by enriching the Public Cord Blood Bank of Crete (CBBC) with rare HLAs’ in the category ‘Research Projects in Hospitals’ at the HealthCare Business Awards 2021, on Monday September 20th.
The Awards brought together more than 300 representatives from academia, the research community and pharmaceutical industry, nonprofit organisations and associations. Chair of the Award Committee this year was former Prime Minister, Member of the Academy of Athens Prof Lukas Papademos. Present at the awards ceremony were Alternate Minister of Health and the General Secretaries of Primary HealthCare and Health Services respectively.
